Dr. George Starr has been in this practice for over 25 years. He has special interests in developmental issues, school and learning problems, and attention deficit disorder. He has been a school physician for the Syracuse City School District for 25 years.

Dr. Caroline Eastment joined University Pediatrics in 1989. She previously worked at the Syracuse Community Health Center and in a pediatric practice in Cazenovia. She has many special interests, including asthma and allergy management, adopted children, and care of the premature infant after discharge.

Patricia Jankiewicz has been in the nursing field since age sixteen when she worked as a nurse's aid. She obtained an RN diploma from Buffalo General Hospital School of Nursing, the oldest nursing school in the USA. Buffalo Children's Hospital Emergency Room was her main site of RN practice. BSN and MSN degrees were earned at SUNY Buffalo. Patricia served as PNP in National Health Service Corps caring for migrant farm workers' children and inner city school children. Patricia has three sons and one daughter. Her special interest is child mental health. She plays piano and Irish fiddle music with her husband, Henry Jankiewicz.
